About Us
Happy Paws Productions was founded on the love we have for our own dogs, and the need to raise awareness of the crisis dogs just like ours face every day. The pet population is at an all time high and if we don't get the word out there, thousands of dogs will continue to be abused, neglected and euthanized every day.

Founder
Happy Paws Productions was founded by Andrea Thompson, who currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina. Thompson has worked as a photographer, writer, and graphic designer for over 14 years, and received a degree in Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina.

In 2007, she produced, wrote and directed "The Paws that Heal," a short-documentary on dogs used for pet therapy, which was the inspiration for "Happy Paws."

Currently we are in production on "Happy Paws." In cooperation with local non-profit rescue & adoption organizations, this informational series will showcase the various aspects and benefits of animal rescue and adoption.

Our mission is to give these animals a voice, show the real connection between animals & people, and educate the public on how they can help ease the suffering of these pawed wonders.
